We collect only what the game needs and explain how optional public features work.
Data stored on your device
38A0 uses local storage to keep active runs, preferences and personal bests. This data remains in your browser unless you submit a leaderboard result or clear your browser storage.
Leaderboard submissions
A submitted result contains the nickname, game mode, score and run record you choose to send. The service may store a one-way hash derived from network information to limit duplicate submissions; the raw address is not displayed publicly.
Advertising and Google services
If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalize ads where permitted. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies based on prior visits to this or other websites. Visitors can manage ad personalization in Google Ads Settings.
Consent and regional rights
Where required, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland, advertising consent will be collected through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized advertising is served. You may request access, correction or deletion of data linked to a leaderboard submission by contacting privacy@38a0.org.
Children and retention
38A0 is a general-audience sports game and is not directed to children under 13. We retain leaderboard records while they remain useful for community comparisons and remove records when legally required or reasonably requested.
